Ann has studied various forms of dance since the age of three. To further her dance education, she received a B.A. Degree in ballet from Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, Virginia. As a teenager, Ann was a soloist with the Dominion Ballet Company. While living in Bristol, Ann danced with the Bristol Ballet Company, performing in many ballet productions including the Nutcracker, Reflections and American Sampler. Over the past 32years, she has also studied jazz, tap, ballet and acrobatics with teachers including Violet Holmes, Charles Kelly, Robert Jeffery, Luigi, Ronn Forella, American Dance Machine, Franck Hatchett, Kit Andree and Barry Youngblood. Ann continues to study in private studios and at conventions in New York City, Virginia, Washington, Pennsylvania, Florida and South Carolina to keep up with the latest dance styles. Ann has 32 years of teaching experience and is a certified aerobics teacher. She is also a member of the national organization, Dance Educators of America. |

Elizabeth began dancing at the age of two under the direction of Ann Witt. Through the years, she has studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, baton and acrobatics. Like all of the instructors, Elizabeth continues her dance education by attending dance workshops and conferences such as Hollywood Vibe, Dance Makers and Dance Caravan, and taking classes from Master Teachers such as Frank Hatchette, Barry Youngblood, Kit Andree, Tommy Alexander and Janice Barringer. Elizabeth has performed locally and throughout several southeast states, winning many awards for her routines. Elizabeth has been teaching for Ann for six years. |

Basia Kost |

Basia began dancing at the age of two under the direction of Ann Witt. Her dance education includes classes in Pointe, ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop and baton. She studied musical theater, for six years, at Swift Creek Mill Playhouse. Basia was a majorette for Prince George High School for three years. While a majorette, she studied baton under the direction of Erica Seredni, the featured twirler of the Cavalier Marching Band at the University of Virginia. Basia had the privilege of twirling with the Cavalier Marching Band at one of UVa’s home games, with the Prince George Marching Royals at the Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tennessee and at the Magic Kingdom and Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. Basia had the honor of choreographing Prince George High School’s 2007 musical production, “Man of La Mancha” and the school’s 2008 musical, “Anything Goes”. She also performed in the latter. Basia’s awards include numerous bronze, silvers and golds for duets, group and production numbers. She has also been awarded high marks for her twirling with the Prince George Marching Royals in their many local and state competitions. Basia has performed locally, at the state level and throughout the southeast. Like all of the instructors, Basia continues her dance education by attending dance workshops and conferences such as Hollywood Vibe, Dance Makers and Dance Caravan. Basia is pursuing an Associates degree in Fine Arts at Richard Bland College and plans on attending Radford University, majoring in dance education. Basia has been teaching for Ann for two years. |

Denise has been involved with the art of dancing for the past 50 years. She began her dance education at the age of two, studying with Traylor Dance Academy, Gloria Dance and the Master of the Tidewater Ballet, in the disciplines of ballet, Pointe, jazz, tap and baton and with Arthur Maury Dance Studios, training in ballroom dancing. Denise has her Associates in Liberal Arts Degree from Richard Bland College and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems, with a minor in Accounting, from Virginia Commonwealth University. Even though Denise stopped performing in her late twenties, she continued to be deeply involved in the dance community. She designed sets for the stage and worked behind the scenes at many dance recitals. In 2002, Denise assumed the role of bookkeeper for Ann. In 2003, she began teaching combination and tap classes. Over the past several years, she has choreographed the production routines for the finales and “special ballets”. In 2006, began coaching the Prince George High School Majorettes. Like all of the instructors, Denise continues her dance education by attending dance workshops and conferences such as Hollywood Vibe, Dance Makers and Dance Caravan. |

Megan, the daughter of Ann Witt, has been dancing since the age of two. Through the years, her disciplines of study have included ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, baton and acrobatics. Like all of the instructors, Megan continues her dance education by attending dance workshops and conferences such as Hollywood Vibe, Dance Makers and Dance Caravan, and by taking classes from Master Teachers such as Frank Hatchette, Barry Youngblood, Kit Andree, Tommy Alexander, Janice Barringer and Darryl Reiter. Megan has performed locally and throughout several southeast states, winning many awards for her routines, including a gold for a “solo performance”, and for her choreography. Megan has been teaching for Ann for five years. |

Victoria Davis Assistant Instructor in Ballet, Jazz and Hip Hop
“Tori” has danced with Ann for the past several years, studying ballet, lyrical, jazz and hip hop. Tori assists Megan, Denise and Ann in their classes giving students individual assistance and overall help with the routines and performances. Tori has been an assistant for three years. |
